UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative Refresher

Course Objectives:

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires all persons who work with asbestos to receive appropriate refresher training within 12 months of their previous training.

This refresher course is designed to assess the continued safe working practices for previously trained delegates.

Course Content:

On successful completion of the course delegates will have been assessed on the following:

  • Updates on legislation
  • Updates on industry best practice
  • The correct, safe working procedures and practices related to their specific asbestos non-licensable works determined by a TNA (Training Needs Analysis)

At the end of the course delegates will be required to complete a Multiple Choice Assessment Paper.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be issued with a UKATA Certificate which is valid for 12 months.

Failure to complete the UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative Refresher again within 12 months of the certificate expiry will result in delegates being required to sit the UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative (including Awareness) or UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative (excluding Asbestos Awareness) initial courses again in order to re-certify.

Who Should Attend?

Any person who has completed the initial UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative (including Awareness) or UKATA Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative (excluding Asbestos Awareness) courses within the last 12 months.
