EUSR SHEA Power
Course Objectives
The Utility Safety Health and Environment Awareness (SHEA) portfolio of schemes have been developed in conjunction with industry to provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across the utilities sector, in line with the Health & Safety Executives guidelines.
Workshop Content
This course comprises of eight core modules as follows:
- Your responsibilities on site, including hazard spotting
- Risk Assessments
- Work place procedures
- Parts 1 & 2 – Physical Hazards
- Parts 1 & 2 – Hazards to Health
- Environment
It is designed to provide on-site evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness.At the end of the course delegates are required to sit an assessment paper, which incorporates 10 questions per module, and a required pass mark of 8 questions per module.
On successful completion of the course delegates will receive a Utility SHEA (Power) card, which expires three years from the date of the training.
