Course Objectives

This course is designed for those responsible for supervising and monitoring winter service operations. It provides learners with the knowledge and practical understanding required to plan, manage and monitor safe and effective winter service activities in line with current legislation, industry guidance and organisational procedures.

 By the end of the course, learners will understand how to:

 Apply current health and safety legislation to winter service operations.

  • Assessment consists of multiple-choice and short written-answer questions.

  • The assessment is completed under examination conditions.

  • Learners have 45 minutes to complete the assessment.

  • A pass mark of 75% is required.

  • Successful learners will receive the relevant City & Guilds certification.
