In April 2021 NEBOSH abolished the old NEBOSH National Construction Certificate that ran alongside the NEBOSH General Certificate and replaced it with the new NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction (UK) course.

From 1^st September 2021, the old 6150 qualifications for Confined Spaces will no longer be available and are being replaced with the 6160 suite of qualifications.  They have been updated to reflect the National Occupation Standards produced by EUSkills.  These new suite of qualifications no longer differentiate between water and non-water, and with regards to the Medium Risk Course (currently known as 6150-02) the Top Man part of the qualification is being removed and will be a separate qualification in its own right.
