PASMA Working at Heights (Novice)

Course Objectives:

This course is designed to enable an individual to effectively comply with their duties under the Work at Height Regulations.

A Course notes booklet & the current code of practice will be issued to attendees.  These may be electronic / digital copies.

Course Content:

Topics covered on this course include:

  • Current legislation
  • Regulations & guidance affecting work at height
  • Employees responsibilities
  • Types of access equipment
  • Selecting appropriate equipment
  • An overview of Fall Protection, Fragile Surfaces, Risk Assessments, Emergency & Rescue and Inspecting Equipment

Delegates will be required to complete an end of course assessment, with a pass mark of 80% in order to successfully complete the course.

On successful completion, delegates will be awarded a PASMA photocard.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who is involved in working at heights, particularly those who are new to working at height.  This is an entry level course.

No qualifications or experience are required to attend this course.
