PASMA Tower for Users

Course Objectives:

This course is designed to give delegates the skills and knowledge on how to assemble, dismantle, relocate & alter a mobile access tower without the risk of injury to themselves or
others.

A course note booklet & the current code of practice will be
issued to all delegates.

Course Content:

Topics covered on this course include:

  • Legislation
  • Regulations & guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers
  • PASMA code of practice; Product standards EN 1004-1
  • Assembling, altering & dismantling towers incorporating current best practice & approved build methods for fall protection
  • Inspection of completed mobile access towers & completion of Tower Inspection Records
  • Hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers and how to avoid

At the end of the course, delegates will be required to complete
theory and practical assessments with a pass mark of 80% in
both.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be
issued with a PASMA photocard which lasts for 5 years,

Who Should Attend?

Personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspection of mobile access towers.

No formal qualifications or experience is necessary to attend, but it would be beneficial if delegates have a basic understanding of working at height issues.
