Training & Centre Administrator

Reporting to: Centre Manager

Location: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

The Role:
The Central Administration team ensures trainers and delegates have everything they need for a successful course. Providing an outstanding level of customer service, as Training Administrator you are the central point, both internally and externally, for queries relating to course registrations and paperwork, publications and certificates. The service element of your role extends to ensuring delegates have the best possible environment to learn in, and as Centre Administrator, you are responsible for preparing the Centre and its facilities each day for the varied schedule of courses that run.

Key Responsibilities:

1 – Training Administration

  • Registering courses
  • Preparing course paperwork
  • Submitting results
  • Creating and sending certificates
  • Dealing with certificate enquiries
  • Liaising with trainers on course material queries
  • Distributing courses and course paperwork
  • Submitting CITB ATO Levy claims
  • Coordinating Zoom Classroom course administration and communications

2 – Centre Administration

  • Setting up and clearing down training rooms prior to and following course delivery
  • Organising refreshments and maintaining suitable stock levels
  • Liaising with the Sales Administration department to ensure all course paperwork and equipment is received at the Bury Centre on time
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Greeting visitors to the Centre and answering incoming calls
  • Checking levels of stationery and advising the Centre Manager of requirements
  • Invigilating examinations
  • Supporting the Centre Manager with ISO / auditing requirements in line with the company quality policy
  • Any other administration tasks required to support the demands of the Centre / C&C Training

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Education to GCSE level with Mathematics & English Language Grade C or above essential
  • Good communication & organisational skills
  • Good time keeper, punctual and reliable
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Be a team player
  • Good current working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook
  • Previous administration and/or customer service experience essential
