MP visits our new HQ

C&C Training welcomed a very special guest on Wednesday lunch time when MP for South West Bedfordshire Andrew Selous visited.

C&C Training 2

C&C Training in Grovebury Road, Leighton Buzzard, has just moved to bigger premises in Ridgeway Court, and invited Mr Selous, as well as local businesses, to attend a grand opening of their new training centre & Head Quarters comprising two training rooms and larger offices.

The company has expanded due to popular demand for its high quality training and facilities which has seen staff numbers almost double in the last year.

Customers from far afield as Nottingham and Cambridge paid a visit along with representatives from Leighton Buzzard companies.

MP Andrew Selous is well known for his interest in local businesses and said he was delighted to have been invited – fitting C&C into his busy schedule as he has just taken on the Government role as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Justice. He said: “It is fantastic that a Leighton Buzzard business is going from strength to strength and taking on staff. I wish C&C every possible success as it goes on to even greater achievements. It makes me immensely proud to see a local business doing so well and I am delighted to declare their new centre open.”

Commercial Director Charlie Cadman and Operations Director Ruth Crothers were very pleased with the turn out. On behalf of both directors, Ruth said: “We were extremely pleased to have Andrew Selous, MP, declare C&C Training’s new head office and Leighton Buzzard training centre open.  The event was made even more enjoyable by the attendance of some of our most long-standing and valued clients.  We would like to thank them and everyone else who supported the event and we look forward to welcoming Leighton Buzzard and surrounding businesses to our courses in the future.”

New to the training centre in Leighton Buzzard is a purpose-built asbestos non-licensed removal training area to meet the demand for specialist training in this field.

The Bury St Edmunds centre already boasts the first purpose-built City & Guilds accredited Confined Space training centre of its kind in the East of England Region.

Meanwhile, for the second year running, C&C Training has just launched its Christmas fundraiser for children’s charity KidsOut. If you attend a course, look out for the cuddly give-away, ‘Diglot the Dragon’, and please give generously towards raising cash for gifts for under-privileged children in the community.

See the course dates tab for courses on offer at both our centres.
